The initial spark of her passion for performing came from her 15-year career in the field of baton spinning. During that time Alexa was also trained in the styles of ballet hip hop, jazz and contemporary, and has won numerous national titles. She was a performer for The Walt Disney Company in Disneyland California and spent seven months at Hong Kong Disneyland.
