Kristen Anne Bell was born July 18 in 1980. 1. She is an American actress and singer. She began her acting career at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. There, she starred in performances on stage. The musical comedy The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was her Broadway debut. The Crucible revival came out the next year. She then appeared in the action thriller film Spartan (2004) and was awarded praise for her performance in the drama TV film Gracie's Choice (2004).Her first major role was that of the title character in the teen noir drama the television show Veronica Mars (2004-2007), getting praise from the critics and winning the Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her performance. In the 2014 film she reprised her character as the title character and in the renewal of the show in 2019, she was the main character. Bell starred in the musical Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical (2005) as Mary Lane. This was an opportunity to reprise her role from her New York musical. Bell was also on the stage in Heroes, the superhero drama as Elle Bishop, from 2007 until 2008. Bell was the voice of the narrator in the series for teens called Gossip Girl, reprising the role in the 2021 sequel. Bell also played Jeannie van der Hooven the female protagonist on the Showtime comedy series House of Lies. Bell was the main character of Eleanor Shellstrop on the critically acclaimed NBC comedy series The Good Place, receiving an Golden Globe Award nomination for her role. Bell was also the main character of the streaming series The Woman in the house across the street from the Girl in the Window.
